Packet Drop Off, May 18th 2020

R. L. Young Learning Packet Drop Off

May 18, 2020

The staff at R. L. Young have devised a plan that we feel is the safest way for parents to drop off learning packets.  You will turn in your child’s learning packet at your teacher’s outside window.  There will be a box outside the window.  He/she will be watching for you during the specified time for your class.  Drop the items in the box outside the window. Please return the learning packets, a self-addressed stamped envelope for your child’s last report card to be mailed May 21st, any textbooks or library books, and your child’s Logo Contest entry, and fifth grade completed Ambassador applications.

  • Learning Packets

  • Self-addressed stamped envelope for your child’s last report card to be mailed May 21st.

  • Textbooks or library books

  • Your child’s Logo Contest entries

  • 5th Grade Completed Ambassador Applications

We realize many of you have more than one child; therefore, if your children have different drop off times, we suggest you come at the end of the first session and stay for the beginning of the second session.

Teachers in the main building (Wilson, Burel, Freeman, Belcher, Jacks, Carr) will be at a different location in the K-2 building or the 5th & 6th grade building for easy window access.

Teachers will have their windows easily labeled with their names. We have also suggested a parking area for you to help with traffic, parking, and the best access to each classroom window.

Please make sure you are practicing safe social distancing, maintaining 6-10 feet at all times.  If someone is at the window, please wait until they leave.  We want everyone to stay healthy!
