Read Across America Week At R. L. Young
March 3rd-7th
*All activities subject to grade level participation. 


Mon.       Book: Cat in the Hat. Wear read, black, and white clothing.
Tues.       Book: The LoraxWear green clothing.
Wed.       Book: Horton Hears a Who. Keep promises and be trustworthy.
Thurs.    Book: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. Wear red and             
                blue clothing.
 Fri.         Book: Oh, the Places You Can Go! Wear traveling shirts (Panama      
                City, Gatlinburg, etc.) or Auburn/Alabama shirt.

PE Star Student of the Week 1-17-14


This week’s star student is an all-around wonderful student.  She is a hard worker and she always does her best.  She treats everyone with kindness.   She is a very dependable and honest person.  She is a true friend to everyone.  Great job Jordan B. for being this week’s brightest star!

Talladega Animal Shelter Service Project this month

 
It's not too late to let your child participate in the service project for February at R. L. Young. We are targeting the Talladega Animal Shelter. The following items are needed:
Cleaning Supplies (dishwashing liquid, Pinesol, and bleach)
Blankets or pet toys
Animal toys or treats
cat litter
cat food
dog food
old towels
