Mrs. Nabors' class collected leaves, sorted them by color, identified the veins, made etchings of the veins, created an animal design using the leaves, and used materials to see who could build the tallest tree with branches and leaves.
Mrs. Nelson's class read a book about Native Americans, designed a canoe/boat, tested it to see if it would float, added pumpkins and corn to see how much weight it could hold, modified their creation, and tested it again to see if it could hold more weight and still float.
