Fall Fest '08: A Great Part of 80 Years of Excellence

After tonight one thing is for certain.  You don't have to travel to California or Orlando to experience a magical kingdom.  You just need to be at R. L. Young Elementary School to experience that!  Our Fall Festival is an event that is planned on a year-round basis, worked on by students, parents, teachers and, yes, grandparents!  Every event is thought out and planned with one thing in mind:  old fashioned fun to be enjoyed by all.  Everywhere I looked tonight I saw parents talking, old friends re-uniting, grandparents showing off their grandchildren and enjoying the fun of the fall season.  Thanks to all who lended their expertise, creativity, treats, money, help, time and work to this annual tradition.  I had so much fun I wish we could do it again next week!  Honestly!  If you missed it, there will be another one next year!  If you were there, I know you feel good to have been a part of it.  Happy Birthday, Raymond L. Young Elementary.  If the next 80 years are as good as the last, there's no where else to go but to the stars!
