Three of R. L. Young's sixth graders got a surprise last week when they learned their posters had been selected as the winners of the "Kick Butts" poster contest sponsored by First Family Services. First Family offers Life Skills classes for 6th graders which lasts all year long. Poster winners: First place Brittany T., second place Jordan A., and third place Amber K. Also, pictured is Ms. Connie Gaines, one of the instructors of the Life Skills Program. The other teacher is Ms. Sharon Burton. We are proud of all students who participated in this fun activity that encourages students not to smoke.
