| Congratulations to Jake C., sixth grader in Mrs. French's homeroom. He reached 500 points in the Accelerated Reader program. The prize for this accomplishment was to dine at his favorite restaurant with his teacher, the principal, and his parents. He chose Fuji's in Oxford. The cook prepared the meal in front of us and put on quite a show.
Relax, no one was hurt. It was part of the lunch preparations!
The cook also asked if Jake wanted to catch a bite of food in his mouth, which he did!
Jake was made to feel very special and even got a yummy dessert. By the end of lunch, he was so full, he got it in a "to go" box. Thanks, Fuji's for a great time!
We are very proud of Jake!
