| Our new librarian, Mrs. Andrea Taylor joined our staff on January 5th. She has already begun new things in the library and we appreciate all of the hard work! |

| Ms. Vanessa Cook became our new first grade teacher on January 13th. She was already a familiar face on campus, serving as one of our most popular guest teachers. We feel fortunate to have her on staff. |

| Mrs. Cheryl Norred has joined our staff as counselor for this year. She has a wealth of experience and has already begun meeting with classes. We welcome her to R. L. Young! |
