Our School's archery competition will be on February 2, 2011. This is the third year for our archery program. For two years we have made it to the state competition in Birmingham at the BJCC. The competition will be for the 4th through 6th grades. There will be a total of 20 students on our R.L. Young archery team. The top ten girls and the top ten boys will make up our team.
Coach Darby from Salter Elementary will judge all scores for the competition. Students will be allowed to shoot 5 arrows from 5 meters and 5 arrows from ten meters. The total points possible will be 100. A student's score will determine whether or not he/she makes the team. Good luck to all shooters!
