R. L. Young has just wrapped up a super year. Before closing the doors
for the final day, I had the pleasure of dining with the May Good Citizens.

Special note: The teachers and I felt that the recognition of Good Citizens at Awards Day should be extra special. We believe good behavior can be achieved by every student. In the past at Awards Day, Good Citizen received pins, but this year they were given medals. Good behavior helps tremendously in a classroom and school. The teacher's focus can be more on teaching and instruction, rather than documenting poor behavior. THANKS to all of our good citizens this year. Thanks also to the parents/caregivers that support us in our efforts to maximize learning for all students.
YOU have made a difference at R. L. Young.
