8-12-14 American Red Cross Scrubby Bear's Handwashing

I would like to thank the American Red Cross for coming to our school today to talk to our students.  Mrs. Wagner and Mr. Brown shared some great tips with the students.  They shared tips on ways to avoid germs by washing our hands and cleaning cuts.  The students also were able to meet Scrubby Bear and learn his hand washing techniques.
Step 1.  Wet hands with water.
Step 2.  Use 1 squirt of liquid soap.
Step 3.  Scrub 10 seconds.
Step 4.  Rinse well.
Step 5.  Dry hands with paper towel and turn off water with paper towel.
Step 6.  Throw paper towel in trash.
Scrubby Bear introduces students to the importance of washing their hands to prevent the spread of diseases.  Once again thank you for your hard work and volunteering your time to help our students.
