New Staff...Welcome Aboard!

Our new librarian, Mrs. Andrea Taylor joined our staff on January 5th. She has already begun new things in the library and we appreciate all of the hard work!
Ms. Vanessa Cook became our new first grade teacher on January 13th. She was already a familiar face on campus, serving as one of our most popular guest teachers. We feel fortunate to have her on staff.
Mrs. Cheryl Norred has joined our staff as counselor for this year. She has a wealth of experience and has already begun meeting with classes. We welcome her to R. L. Young!

PE Star Student 12-12-14

This week’s star student is always using his manners.  He is great at being respectful to everyone around him.  He is a very dependable student who is a great leader for his classmates.  I am proud to have him in my class because of his wonderful attitude.  Great job Christopher E. for being this week’s brightest star!

Raymond L. Young Helps Honor Board Members and Presents at School Board Meeting

Landry L. and Payton McD. share the letters they wrote to Mr. Braswell at the board meeting.
Chocolates were given, too. We love our board members!
Sixth grade students Ethan N., Rylee M., and Nigel S. shared their field trip with the audience. Mrs. Lamberth and Mrs. French, their teachers, were there to expand on all of the standards and skills covered on the trip.
