Logo Contest Winners

Each year R.L. Young students participate in the logo contest to determine the t-shirt design for next years school shirt. The students are given specific requirements such as margins, color, and what words must be included in their design. We had several exemplary submissions this year. The 1st place design will be the design of the 2016-17 school t-shirt sold by PTO. These shirts will be on sale at open house in the fall. Each grade gets a different color shirt to represent their grade. These shirts are worn on field trips and field day.

Winner - Emi Nabors, 4th grade
2nd place - Landry Liner, 6th grade
3rd place - Emily Gray, 6th grade

You Made A Difference

Wow! We wanted to let everyone know what a difference you made with Box Tops for Education. In three months, you helped us raise $547.00. We will use that to purchase new technology equipment. Our goal is for our school to be a one-to-one school in which each child has a computer or iPad to learn with. Please keep sending those in. We will send a new page to fill up every month. Be on the look out in May for the summer sheet and the contest for turning those in.

Please remember to attach bonus box tops to a separate sheet from your regular box tops. Those cannot be on the same page. Thanks.
