Getting the WORD Out!

Parents,
You can make a difference in your child's success this year in school. Reading aloud to your child is one of the best ways to help your child succeed. Here is this month's tip:

  • Read on a regular basis-Try to read every day at least 15 to 20 minutes. Read aloud while supper is in the oven or end the day with a peaceful bedtime story.
Some parents are afraid they will make a mistake while reading aloud. Everybody makes mistakes and if your child sees you make one, they will know that it is okay for them to do so, too.
