Doors at R. L. Young

Each morning at 7:15 a.m. the glassed in breezeway door in the front of the school is unlocked for car riders to enter the lunchroom. Students will find a teacher on duty to supervise. At 7:35 a.m. the first bell rings and students are released to class. At this time, the buildings are open to allow students to enter.

If your child arrives BEFORE 7:35 a.m., they must go into the lunchroom. Doors to the outside are unlocked at 7:35 a.m. to allow students to enter. Students are late after 7:45 a.m. All exterior doors (other than the two that allow classes to enter the main building and annex 1) are locked after the tardy bell rings to ensure safety for our staff and students.

The main building entrance is open to receive guests throughout the day. All visitors should report to the office to sign in and receive a pass to go through the school.
