Class Rolls will be Posted

The 2015-16 class rolls will be posted Monday, July 27 at 8:00 a.m.. This is a tradition that is very important to students and their parents. All of the teachers at R. L. Young are experts in their fields and work closely together as a grade level team and as educators of our school. We are proud of the faculty and staff here at the schoolhouse!

If you visit the school and do not see your child's name on a roll, please alert the office. We are waiting on documents from several parents and cannot place them into the system until the paperwork has been brought. We have a few students that owe a debt from last year. They, too will be placed on a roll as soon as this is cleared up.

Don't forget that our annual MEET AND GREET will begin on August 6 at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium with a parent meeting hosted by Pattie Thomas, the Principal. She will be sharing how federal dollars are spent at Young and also revealing 10 secrets to ensure that your child(ren) has a great year. Door prizes will be given away. Be sure to sign in when you enter the auditorium and get a ticket for the drawings.

Your child's teacher will be contacting you soon to invite you to the Meet and Greet. The schedule will also be available at the front door of the school tomorrow. You can also find it on our school blog and facebook page.
