Students at R. L. Young have big hearts AND are willing to think of others. This was evidenced in their participation in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Math-A-Thon. Under the leadership of teacher Cathy Thornton, 40 children in K - 6th grade raised over 1,600 dollars over a 2 week period. Students were supported by
family/ friends and completed a booklet of math problems.
We are proud of our smart and thoughtful students!
