Teachers have many tasks to complete in May and one very important one is choosing a Good Citizen of the Year. Good Citizens are selected monthly and in May an overall winner is selected from each classroom. This year's Good Citizens received a meal, compliments of ARBY's. We appreciate the support from the community to make this happen!
The Good Citizen Program has been in place for many years and has helped the school recognize students who are a joy to teach and have in the classroom. Even when a student struggles academically, he/she can strive for the title of GOOD CITIZEN.Ms. Joann Deese, our school counselor supervises this program and we applaud her efforts!
I wonder who next year's Good Citizens will be?
