R. L. Young students participated in our annual Toys for Tots program in the month of December. As the month progressed, the toys around the main building tree grew. Children would slowly pass the gifts, but they all remained under the tree awaiting their new owners. Each teacher sent a student representative to help load all of the gifts.
On December 15, Mrs. Hurst from First Family Services made two trips to their office carrying all of the wonderful toys. These toys will be sorted and assigned to various needy families in Talladega County.
First Family Services expressed their gratitude for the giving hearts at R. L. Young. We are delighted with your generous support in our service project efforts. You are helping the children develop a concern for others.
