Check the school blog, along with blogs created for grades K, 4, and the UGA. Good news and student accomplishments are always being shared.
Sign up to receive an email each time your child takes an AR test. You can be ready to congratulate them when you see them after school. A letter was sent from the school for grades 2-6 sharing the login and password for AR Home Connect. This site is free to parents and allows them to see the AR progress all year long.
Talk to the teacher. They love to brag on their students.
Review graded work and conduct for the week each Monday or Friday depending on the grade level.
Come have lunch with your child so that you can see them interacting with their classmates. You will have "faces" to put with the names of the classmates as your child shares his/her day.
Attend Honor Roll Assemblies that occur after the report cards are sent. Also, check the BOTTOM of this blog for the school calendar. School events are posted there!
