Relay for Life...Service to Others

School is winding down and we wanted to take this last opportunity to give back to others with a service project through RELAY FOR LIFE. We will be participating in COINS FOR A CURE in support of the American Cancer Society’s goal to find a cure for cancer.

Our school efforts will consist of a collection of coins during the week of April 27-30. The money you help raise supports American Cancer Society’s research, education, advocacy, and patient services programs. The homeroom class that raises the most money during the one week period of April 27th-30th will receive a pizza party. We hope you will support our efforts to teach children to think of others and help make a difference.

You are also invited to participate in North Talladega County’s Relay for Life scheduled for Friday, May 14, 2010. It offers all people the opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Where else can you show your enthusiasm for such an important cause by creating outrageous team themes, decorating campsites and playing games?

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!
