Reminds ME of R. L. Young

Have you even viewed a picture and immediately connected it to something else in your life? When I received this photo in an email, I saved it to share on the blog. It symbolizes what we provide for students at R. L. Young.

Children most often start in kindergarten and progress through each grade at the school. Although the child moves to the next grade, the connection to that family and student remains intact. Teachers tell me that they receive email, phone calls, and notes from students that have moved on. This speaks volumes to me. Yes, we do still care about your child and by sharing this knowledge across the school the child is surrounded by love, concern, and 400 years of expertise in teaching.

We know our students by name and we know their families. It is through these relationships and working closely together that our students are so successful. All of the teachers at Young have their own unique style of teaching, but there is one common thread that runs throughout...THEY ALL CARE.
When they call, write a note, walk to the car to talk, or whatever means they use to connect, the purpose is clear...To help your child reach his or her full potential.

What a privilege to work at this wonderful place!
