PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

PRE-K CLASS

During the 2012/2013 school year, Talladega City Schools will

be offering an Alabama First Class Pre-K Program to a select

group of 18 four-year olds. Students will be selected in accordance with state and local guidelines by the lottery process. The Pre-K class will be housed at Houston Elementary School. This program will follow the District’s calendar beginning in August of 2012 and ending in May of 2013. The hours of the program will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Parents will be responsible for student transportation. Applications for admission to the Pre K-Class will be available at the Talladega City Schools Board of Education Office, 501 South Street E., Talladega, Alabama from March 19, 2012 through April 30, 2012. The selection by lottery will be held on May 2, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cafeteria at Houston Elementary School.
