Talladega Animal Shelter Visits Young

R. L. Young is always pleased to have members from the community visit the students and provide opportunities for our children to help others. During the month of February, students collected items needed for the homeless or abandoned animals in Talladega county.
At the end of the month, the shelter took time to visit our students and discuss many important topics such as what to do when approached by a strange animal, how to properly care for a pet, and what the shelter does for our city.

Payton McD. was pictured here demonstrating how to approach a strange dog. Of course, this was actually her dog and her mother was the presenter.
Thanks Mrs. Jones for arranging this and providing such a wonderful opportunity for our students to help.
These students were happy to help carry out all of the food, toys, bedding,
and toys for shelter animals.
