Hip Hip Hooray--It's the 100th Day

R.L. Young Kindergarten classes celebrated the 100th day of school on Thursday, January 22nd. The children dressed up like they were 100 years old. To help celebrate the 100th day of school, we decided to have the children participate in a Community Service Project. We collected canned food items to help restock the Red Door Kitchen. Our goal was for each class to collect 100 cans of food by Thursday, January 22nd.

Finally, Thurday was here and the tallies were in: Mrs.Liner's class won-they collect 194 cans, Mrs. Lamberth's class was second with 169 cans, and Mrs. Nabors class came in third with a total of 152. This made for a grand total of 515 cans.

That was awesome, Kindergarten classes!!
